So okay, last week I didn’t post any photos of jewelry I made nor the May wings. But that’s because that week has been utilized to promote “Tiny Misfits: The Prophecy” a comic I plan to dedicate myself with. For your information, “Tiny Misfits: The Prophecy” will only premier on the 15th of October 2008. So if you have any questions you’d like to ask that is not shown below regarding “Tiny Misfits: The Prophecy“, please do not hesitate to comment your questions here. Is this like…a movie or something?
If it was, I would be making a buck or two from it, and the show would have to be out a WHOLE LOT later. This is also because I only came up with the idea of making this comic about 2 to 3 weeks ago.

What’s the big brown/purple egg looking thing in the middle?
That, dear readers, is the mysterious Fortune Teller. He does not have a major-major role in the comic, but an important role non-the-less.

Is he evil or good?
Now that you mention…he’s EVIL!! Hmm, wait, he’s GOOD…or maybe EVIL…I can’t decide He’s a mysterious person, more of a neutral observer throughout the whole comic. Also, how do you REALLY know if it’s a he?

That’s confusing o_O.
I know :3 which makes it all the more mysterious.

Right. It’s been nagging me. But what’s that thing on the right? The one above the robot. Is that like a rubber ducky or something?
Hmm, I guess I can understand your confusion. But that’s not a rubber duck. It’s actually the Fortune Teller’s all-knowing book as opposed to his all-seeing crystal ball on his left. The reason why you would have misinterpreted that would be because I pixeled it with a 10 px pencil. So don’t worry, it’ll look better in it’s real size in the comic.

You mean…those are not the real sizes?
That’s right pal. I only made it bigger to enhance it’s affect on the poster. Just like any other ordinary movie poster, you’d always see the actors/actresses bigger than they should be in real life isn’t it? Well, that’s how it’s suppose to portray in the one I made.

Well okay. Right now, I’m guessing that the people on opposite sides of the barrier are equally on the left and right side of the poster?
That’s incorrect. But that would be your interpretation from the brief synopsis I gave isn’t it? Well, like I mentioned before, it’s only a brief synopsis. In a longer synopsis.

“In a land far far away, exists a not-so-secret world. A world with the likes one have never known nor seen. And in that very world, exists a barrier, a barrier that divides two nations at ill with each other. A barrier not of power, but of social acceptance.

With peace and opportunities to break down the barrier nowhere near sight, an evil power will rise above all else to use this barrier to bring about something more sinister and evil. It is then where two souls will emerge, bonded by blood and trust to bring the fall and destruction of evil and at the same time, breaking the barrier of society.

Beginning mid October, witness the adventures and ridiculous scenes as destiny comes knocking.“

I hope this synopsis will be more understandable than the previous one. It’s my fault that it wasn’t portrayed well in the previous one. I was just lazy to type too much

Tiny Misfits: The Prophecy

This is the second version of the “Tiny Misfits: The Prophecy” comic preview Version 2. I actually forgot to add the creepy shadow fella in the first one, so this is the more updated one actually. This time, allow me to type out what it WOULD say if it was animated.

“In a land far far away, exists a not-so-secret world. A world with the likes one have never known nor seen. And in that very world, exists a barrier, a barrier that divides two nations at ill with each other.

This October, witness the adventures and ridiculous scenes as destiny comes knocking.”

It’s not very elaborate, but it actually helps keep the preview a sort of suspense for what is to come. Hope you’re all on your toes for the REAL comic

Tiny Misfits: The Prophecy

Phew, the poster is finally out. This is just a preview poster of the upcoming comic I’m currently in the midst of making. It looks good thanks to ~Syrviets for his input on the poster even though I had been naughty enough to had pull him away from his “burning the midnight oil” history studying early this morning – which was around 2am.

Anyway, everything here was done through Photoshop CS2. And yes, the sneak preview will be show in about a week BEFORE the real comic. It’ll be a blast. The characters are emoticons if you haven’t already guessed it. And those are NOT their real sizes. They are all supersized to give it the emphasized effect; especially the sinister looking character with the hood. As you can see, in the credits, there are a few – okay, just two other – names there. I can’t say how much I appreciate your help, it’s a lot so I’ll eventually find a way to

April: Diamond Wings

Please do not use these wings without permission.

This is a complete sprite of a custom wing. There is no .act file ready for download because I do not plan to release these wings to the public at the moment. All of the frames were created by me. This is only the FORTH out of the TWELVE wings that will be coming soon.

Each wing represent each month of the year. Specifically, birthwings. Much like birthstones, birthwings have their own characteristics and specialty. The Diamond Wings is the hardest wing and one of the most valued. It does come in yellowish colors, green and blue, but the whitish grey ones is the most used wings. Most Diamond Wings come from Einbech. It is said that the Diamond Wings is good for health problems. It is the symbol of innocence and constancy.

Flower Train Bracelet

A simple daily wear bracelet. This was made specially for my maid who have taken care of my family for years. She’ll be going back to her family this Sunday so I made it as a goodbye gift. I will sorely miss her, she’s just like family to me and it’s hard to see her leave again.

This bracelet was made simple. When she go back, she wouldn’t be going to fancy balls or anything. So I made it simple so she could wear it and remember the good times I shared with her over the years.

March: Aquamarine Wings

This is a complete sprite of a custom wing. There is no .act file ready for download because I do not plan to release these wings to the public at the moment. All of the frames were created by me. This is only the THIRD out of the TWELVE wings that will be coming soon.

Each wing represent each month of the year. Specifically, birthwings. Much like birthstones, birthwings have their own characteristics and specialty. The Aquamarine Wings is a blue-green wings that comes from Alberta. It has been called “Water of the Sea”, because of its color. The Aquamarine is the Wings of sailors, believing that it would be protection for them on water. Folklore says that the Aquamarine will protect against curses. It is also said that the aquamarine will pick up spirits.

Spring Bloom Necklace

Another costume jewelry. I made the Spring Bloom Necklace right after the Flowery Purple Button Bracelet. It’s something I made to wear it to my cousin’s wedding. It’s a bit excessive but it made my night knowing that I actually got something that someone else don’t have. And it’s not that bad looking either. So I guess I accomplish something knowing I made it myself.

I’m gonna make a different version of this necklace in the near future. To make it look more sophisticated and not so…flowery and rather kiddish =3

Okay, since the opening of this blog, I have since received a few questions asked over and over again. So I’d like to take the time here today to address these concerns.

The wings don’t look very good, does it o_O.
I admit, it doesn’t look very good. But heck, I didn’t say I’m a professional when I posted it up. But then again, I like it. And if you don’t, you’re welcome to your opinion. Maybe in future, your criticisms may help me improve myself.

Nice wings, when are you going to release it?
Releasing my wings? I’m not sure. And I’m not sure I want to release it either. But that’s right now. The wings aren’t done (some views aren’t done and the whole set isn’t event done) so there’s nothing to release right now.

If you’re not going to release your wings, then WHY did you make it?!
Because I can? And also because I’ve a mind to make my own server in the coming future. And I plan to incorporate my own wings there first.

Cool, when will your server be up?
I don’t know. I want to customize it first before I find a server hosting plan. And yes, I don’t plan to host it myself. That’s just plain madness. Imagine the lag and drag =.=”

February: Amethyst Wings

This is a complete sprite of a custom wing. There is no .act file ready for download because I do not plan to release these wings to the public at the moment. After creating the Garnet Wings, I decided that I wanted to do the whole set . All of the frames were created by me. This is only the SECOND out of the TWELVE wings that will be coming soon.

Each wing represent each month of the year. Specifically, birthwings. Much like birthstones, birthwings have their own characteristics and specialty. This wing is called the Amethyst Wing, a wing traditionally worn to guard against drunkness and to instill in a person, a sober mind. It is also believed to protect one from poison. Ancient Morrocians used the Amethyst Wings to guard against unholy feelings. It has been worn as a protection from the unseen, self-deception, as well as a protection against witchcraft. The Amethyst Wings has long been used to ward off spiritual and psychic phenomenons, making it one of the power wings.

Flowery Purple Button Bracelet

Finally I have my picture uploaded into the computer and into the blog! This “Flowery Purple Button Bracelet” here is my first attempt at Jewelry craft. I was inspired by other jewelry makers who made really awesome button bracelets. However, I thought that too many buttons will make it too over the top thus I decided to tone the buttons down and add other things to it.

I personally customized the bracelet, not the buttons, beads, chain, and such. Rather satisfied with my first attempt. Will try harder in my next, or the next one, or the next, or the next…
